POSTECH International Relations
Students who do not hold Master’s or above degree should not apply for D-2-5 visa. If you accidently applied or received D-2-5 from Korean Embassy, Consulate Office, or Visa Center please email postech-isss@postech.ac.kr as soon as possible.
If you are Short-Term Student (C-3-1), you will be required to purchase a separate insurance plan that covers your stay in POSTECH.
If you are Long-Term Student (D-2-5), you will be automatically registered to the National Health Insurance Service (NHIS), effective from the date of Alien Registration. However, you still need to purchase a separate insurance plan valid for at least 1 month from your arrival in Korea to cover your stay before Alien Registration.
On-Campus housing is guaranteed for research visit students in POSTECH unless chosen otherwise. Housing Fee must be paid in total by making a cash deposit to POSTECH.
