To take local buses, you may purchase T-Money, a prepaid transportation smart card. You will be able to purchase and recharge
the card at convenience stores or any other stores which have a T-money sign. T-money offers you discounts on your public transportation fares (except taxis)
Local buses number 207, 306 stop at POSTECH bus station which is the closest bus station to the campus
#207 goes to a few important destinations in Pohang
including Intercity Bus Terminal and St. Mary’s Hospital.
306 stops at Cityhall and Namgu Public Health Office
as well as Intercity Bus Terminal and St. Mary’s Hospital.
Both intercity buses and express buses offer direct services to many different major cities like Seoul, Daegu, and Busan etc.
Compared to intercity buses, express buses are faster and the seats are larger and more comfortable.

Korea Train Express, better known as KTX, is a high-speed rail system providing one of the fastest means of transportation for long distances in Korea.

It is fairly easy to grab a taxi on the streets of Korea. To hail a taxi, simply hold out your arm while looking toward the driver.
The fare starts at approximately KRW 3,300 and after midnight, the fares go up by 20%. The most convenient way to get a taxi to/from campus is with Kakao T,
an app that provides taxi booking and real-time traffic information services.
Pohang is located in southeastern part and approximately 237 miles away from Seoul. There are various ways to get to POSTECH
including by car, bus, airplanes, and KTX. Most international students enter Korea through Incheon International Airport (Seoul) or Gimhae International Airport (Busan).
Both airports operate respective airport limousine buses to other regions in Korea including Pohang.
